The Coach Behind the Numbers
Twenty-eight years building Central Florida sprinters. A hundred-plus athletes signed to college and the pros. Your child trains with the coach who put them there.
A Florida sprinter’s career, twice over.
Coach Boris L. Jackson founded Speed Plus Academy, Inc. — a registered 501(c)(3) faith-based youth track ministry — to serve Central Florida families through coaching, character formation, and competitive opportunity.
BoJack, to anyone who’s spent a season on his track, came up at Jones High School in Orlando, where he excelled in both sports and music. A football scholarship took him to Florida A&M, where he competed in Indoor Track & Field and graduated with honors in Physical Education.
While playing in the Arena Football League, he was already teaching at Carver Middle School and laying the foundation for what would become Speed Plus Inc., the program he founded in 1999. Two and a half decades later, what started in Washington Shores has placed over a hundred athletes into collegiate and professional careers — including former NFL standout Chris Johnson.
My focus is education, family, nutrition, and skill mastery through sport performance training. — Coach BoJack, on his five pillars
Speed Plus Academy Track Club is the on-ramp. High school athletes train under his direct coaching at Dr. Phillips, run for Speed Plus in AAU competition, and step onto a recruiter’s radar with a coach who already knows how to get them noticed.
